We are about 50 minutes drive from Roccaraso (in the province of L’Aquila), which offers very modern ski lifts and more than 100 km of alpine ski slopes and 170 km of cross country skiing! It is, therefore, the largest area of all Italy south-central and seventh nationally for overall qualità. Possibility to rent the equipment on site.
We are also about 50 minutes by car from Passo Lanciano – Maielletta (m. 1305 to 2100) in the province of Chieti, one of the places where, thanks to the extreme proximity to the humid winds of the coast, it snows more. Spectacular feature is that, when the weather is particularly nice, skiing, you can see the sea! But there are only 18 km of alpine ski slopes and 15 km of cross country skiing. Can rent the equipment on site.
Besides these two places nearer, not far from us there are many other ski areas.
